New Fall Crafts!

First Is started with making some faux caramel apples. I made up too much paint/glue mixture so I got this bright idea about making some donuts out of salt dough.

I put it next to a little jug I found at my favorite craft store, Thyme for All Seasons. I added the label and thought how cute for fall. Here is a close up of the donuts! My grandson actually tried to eat one! Heee Heee Hee
Here are some makeovers that I did! I found this jar at a thrift shop. I saw the possibilities......
So here is the finished product......
I found these cigar boxes (I got 3 of them) for $0.10 each!
Here is what I did with one of them.

And last, but not least, I have been playing around with some book art. Here is my first one!

That's all I have for now....but I will be very busy with lots more! Have a great day everyone!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, actually it was Wednesday. Look what my Mom made me for my birthday. I just love it. It looks so cool in my new room. Each year she makes me something quilted with a fall theme. I absolutely love fall and the colors. I'm looking forward to the weekend and getting some crafting done. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Witch's Boot

Been quite a while....like has been so hectic. I just thought I would show you my witch boot that I made for my new fridge. Hubby wanted the freezer at the bottom (I hate it!) and I don't like lots of papers and such cluttering my fridge. So I cut out a lotta stars and put them in an oval pattern with the boot in the center. I change it out for the seasons with things like a stocking at christmas, heart at valentines, etc.

My Latest Project

This picture is not the best...no batteries in my digital so I took it with my crappy phone. This is Sadie Mae. I saw the doll in the new Create and Decorate, but used what I have. Her hair is made from a wool skirt that I received when my MIL passed away. I already had the strips since I do hooked rugs. I just can't wait to put my pumpkins around her.
